The Chinkara or Indian Gazelle (Gazella gazella)

Shares the same habitat as the Blanford urial and the bezoar. In the coming season very few licenses may be issued, for the following season this is for sure. The same can not be said for some other wildlife in Pakistan.

The Nilgai Antelope (Boselaphus tragocamelus)

Has always occurred only in small numbers near the border to India in the Kashmir region. Despite the ongoing peace negotiation hunting in these areas will be off limit for some time. Under threat are the Barasinga stag, the Indian hyena and the wolf.

The Goral ( Naemorhedus goral)

This mountain goat is heavily protected by village communities in Kashmir, but it will take a few more years before these measures show an increase in the population. In the same areas an increased population of the Indian leopard and the Himalaya bear has been noticed.

Snow Leopard (Uncia uncia)

The numbers of the snow leopard have increased due to strict protection measures and an increase in the general wildlife population. Whether hunting will ever be allowed remains to be seen, perhaps one day when continued protection will have increased the numbers sufficiently and when the snow leopard attains a more valuable status with the rural communities.
