In addition we have introduced very exclusive hunts for 3 subspecies of the rare markhor in the last years. Thanks to the unique ‘Community Based Sustainable Trophy Hunting Programme in the northern areas of Pakistan’ this rare wildlife has increased significantly in numbers. The same positive development has taken place with other species like the Himalaya Ibex, the blue sheep, the Blanford urial, the Punjab urial, the Sind ibex or bezoar and the Chinkara antelope.

All mountain hunts are organised under the auspicious control of IUCN and CITES. The licences are few and much sought after and therefore quite expensive. Foreign hunters who come to Pakistan to hunt markhor, ibex and wild sheep can be assured that the licence fee reaches its objective with 80% of the fee flowing back to the local community, which in turn protects the wildlife.

So the saying that hunting can lead to effective wildlife protection has real meaning here. Despite these exclusive mountain hunts our experienced wild boar hunting team under German and Pakistani leadership will continue to be at your service.
